  About the artist:
  Ceramicist born in 1936 in Edmonton Canada. Moved to Portland in 1959. After obtaining a degree in philosophy, he studied biophysics, chemistry, and pottery. Taught ceramics at Museum Art School and School of Arts and Crafts in 1960's-1980s. Has work in the collection of Portland Art Museum, Pacific Northwest College of Art, Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and New Orleans Museum of Art. Exhibited at Image Gallery and Fountain Gallery in Portland, White Bird Gallery in Cannon Beach, Philadelphia Art Museum and most recently at Michael Parsons Gallery.
