  About the artist:
  Oregon artist (1921-2010). While earning a Master's Degree from the Art Institute of Chicago, he had a solo show at the Portland Art Museum. Founded the Rogue Valley Art Association and the Rogue Gallery in 1960. He was the first recipient of the Arts Council of Southern Oregon's Lifetime Achievement Award.
